Our 2024 Best Slice of Indiana fundraiser raised $50,000 for Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP’s) Power Pack program! ICCAP is a non-profit organization that has worked to fight the war on poverty for over 56 years. They also work to empower individuals to progress toward self-sufficiency.
2024 Donation
This year, we brought fundraising efforts for Lemonade Days to all our locations. Lemonade Days is a nationwide event where ALSF supporters host lemonade stands to raise money for childhood cancer research and awareness for ALSF’s mission. These fundraising efforts led to a $100,000+ donation.

Funding Research
Light the Night
S&T team members came together to raise over $8,600 as part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma society’s (LLS) Light the Night fundraiser and walks throughout various regions in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Monies raised will assist LLS in funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services to those in need.
Housing Summit
Combatting Homelessness
S&T Bank sponsored and participated in the Cambria County Housing Summit. This event was hosted by Breaking The Barriers and Magellan Healthcare. The purpose is to provide resources and information on living options for individuals facing housing insecurity.
Aiding Independence
Supporting Bright Futures
S&T team members sorted through clothing donations for Dress for Success Pittsburgh at the Sharpsburg, PA warehouse. Dress for Success works to help underemployed women achieve economic independence by providing no-free programs, development tools and professional attire to help individuals thrive in both work and life.
Helping Veterans
Food Share Program
Our team members volunteered at the Veterans Leadership Program (VLP) Johnstown Military Food Share event. VLP works to provide essential services to Veterans and their families.
Catching Dreams
Supporting Therapeutic Camps
S&T sponsored and actively participated in Camp Dreamcatcher’s event, “Catching Dreams Over the Edge.” Participants had the opportunity to hold the ropes and/or rappel eight stories down a building! Funds raised support therapeutic camps for HIV/Aids impacted youth.
Supporting Our Youth
Building Brighter Futures
S&T donated $1,500 to Chester County Futures (CCF). CCF provides comprehensive academic support, scholarships and mentoring for economically disadvantaged, motivated youth to help them succeed in school, higher education and life.
Cause for Paws
Four-Footed Friends
S&T Bank was a Gold Paw Sponsor for the 2024 Cause for Paws fundraiser benefiting the Indiana County Humane Society. Employees also volunteered at the event which not only raised money but also helped to collect other supplies needed to care for the animals every day.
Connecting Ideas
Promoting Literacy
S&T donated $2,500 to the Dauphin County Library System. The system works to build community while transforming lives by connecting ideas, people and opportunities. The organization provides quality public library services to residents of Dauphin County.
Community Involvement
National Night Out
S&T Bank sponsored the City of Hilliard National Night Out Event. Festivities included interacting with police and first responders, participating in kids’ games and family activities as well as enjoying police K9 visits and fire engine tours. National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to heighten awareness of crime and drug prevention by encouraging community and police interaction.

S&T Bank is a proud sponsor of the free outdoor event, Falls Downtown Fridays, presented by Downtown Cuyahoga Falls. Once a month, the community comes together to enjoy family activities and celebrate local businesses.
Supporting Health
Community Well-Being
S&T Bank has pledged $250,000 to the Punxsutawney Hospital Foundation, to support their capital campaign and the construction of the new Women’s Health Center. The Foundation’s focus is to improve medical services and provide the community with greater access to quality care.
Creating Hope
Helping to Build Dreams
S&T Bank team members volunteered with the Indiana County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Work was done to prime and paint the walls and ceilings of a home that will be sold with all proceeds reinvested into the organization for the next project and family in need.
Fighting Hunger
Hands-on Support
S&T employees volunteered with the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank. Team members worked together to sort and pack food for distribution to those in need. This food bank partners with over 600 food pantries, meal sites and other hunger-relief programs.
Autism Awareness
Promoting Inclusivity
During Autism Awareness Month, S&T employees organized and participated in a virtual 5k to benefit Autism Speaks. They also worked in various ways within our communities to deepen understanding and promote inclusion for all.
Planting with Purpose
Plant a Tree at Flight 93
S&T team members attended the 2024 Plant a Tree at Flight 93 National Memorial day. For over a decade, volunteers, Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial, the National Parks Foundation and the National Park Service have worked to restore the area that will see 150,000 native trees planted.

Big Book Drop
The United Way of Southwestern PA held their 5th annual Big Book Drop and S&T team members assisted with sorting, packing and boxing nearly 30,000 books to be distributed to local youth.
Healthcare Equity
Caring for Others
S&T Bank donated $1,000 to Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM). CVIM provides free, high-quality healthcare to uninsured working people with low incomes to help them live healthier, more productive lives and to assure health equity in the Chester County region.
Providing Hope
Combating Food Insecurity
Members of the S&T team volunteered at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Over 9,000 pounds of donated goods were sorted and packed for distribution in less than three hours time!
Lending a Hand
Serving with Purpose
Our team members volunteered at the Shared Food Program in Philadelphia, PA. Together, they packed over six-hundred boxes and filled fifteen pallets for those in need-setting a new record!
Children's Hospital
Raising Vital Funds
S&T Bank raised over $10,300 for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Donations were accepted at 21 Eastern PA locations and funds were also collected online. Every S&T employee also had the opportunity to purchase specially designed t-shirts with proceeds benefiting CHOP. The Bank event coincided with National Share a Smile Day.

Helping Families in Need
S&T Bank has donated $1,500 dollars to the HEADstrong Foundation. The organization’s mission is to provide financial, residential and emotional support to families that are affected by cancer.
Healthcare Foundation
Supporting Mental Health
Continuing to make people our purpose, S&T Bank has pledged $500,000 to the Indiana Healthcare Foundation, aiding in the construction of a new Behavioral Health Building. The 31,000 square-foot facility is being built to meet the health care needs in the community surrounding both behavioral and mental health.

We’re grateful for everyone who volunteered their time and donated items to help Fill-a-Bus for Chevy Chase Center-Indiana PA. It was incredible to witness our community come together and make a difference during a difficult time. We’re proud to be part of such an amazing effort! Rolling Up Our Sleeves
Roughly 40 S&T Bank colleagues volunteered to help area seniors with tasks around their homes such as painting and yard work as coordinated by Aging Services Inc. of Indiana, PA. Aging Services strives to meet the diverse needs of older adults in the county. They work to enhance their social, physical and mental well-being, improving their overall quality of life.

Food Share Program
S&T Bank team members volunteered as part of our continued support of the Military Share Food Distribution program in Johnstown, PA. Organized by the Veteran’s Leadership program, this work provides food to all Veterans and Military families in need.
Children's Institute
Helping Amazing Kids
S&T Bank presented a donation to the Westmoreland County location of The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh that has been supporting amazing kids and families since 1902. The Institute is a non-profit organization that serves Western PA across multiple locations by providing educational services, autism services, outpatient physical and behavioral services, early intervention, as well as family support services. They currently serve 9,000 children and families annually in the region.
Tech Donations
After School Program
S&T made a donation to Indiana’s Chevy Case Community Center to help purchase new laptops for the center’s after-school program. The Center’s Mission is to cultivate, nurture and sustain a peaceful and inclusive culture that brings community together with positivity, diversity, inclusion, education, nutrition and love.
Supporting the Arts
Learning Through Music
S&T Bank presented a check to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as sponsors of their Schooltime program. This is a free program for children in grades PreK through 12, that introduces students to the orchestra, instruments and creative process.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
S&T Bank made a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region. The organization strives to change the lives of children ages 6-18 who are facing adversity. Their network of volunteers, donors and supporters comes from all walks of life, all backgrounds and all corners of the country.

S&T Bank presented a donation to Hoffman Homes for Youth. Hoffman Homes is a non-profit organization that provides both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health treatment, educational services and other county-funded residential-based services to youth, young adults and their families across the commonwealth.
Getting it done
Cleaning Today for a Better Tomorrow
Rolling up our sleeves for the environment! S&T team members worked with the Rails to Trails organization in Punxsutawney, PA to clean up a cluttered portion of an area trail. This national conservancy works to reimagine public spaces to create safe areas for everyone to walk, bike and be active outdoors.

S&T team members provided a check to the Spanish American Civic Association (SACA) to support their radio station.
Helping Families
Providing Warm Meals
Members of the S&T team volunteered their time at the Ronald McDonald House (RMDH) in Wilmington, DE. Employees prepared and served meals for 80 people currently staying at the RMDH while their children receive treatment.
Putting People First
Supporting Health Equity
S&T Bank presented Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) with a monetary donation to support their work to provide healthcare services in the Chester County region. CVIM provides free, high-quality care to uninsured working people with lower income levels in order to help them live healthier lives.

Habitat for Humanity
S&T employees spent a very fulfilling day completing on-site construction work with York Habitat for Humanity. The organization’s mission is to build safe, affordable and decent housing for low-income, well qualified families in the county.
Junior Achievement
Real World Experience
S&T team members volunteered at Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania’s Biztown. This activity is a day-long visit to a simulated town where elementary students operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks and vote for a mayor!
Giving Back
Sponsorships With Meaning
S&T Bank was the presenting sponsor of the Community Warehouse Project’s annual Gala. This project is a service organization that gathers and then redistributes donated furniture and household items to those in need.
Educating Our Youth
Offering Financial Literacy to All
S&T team members brought their passion for teaching responsible money management to elementary students at a Center City school. Vista.Today documented the experience for students and staff who discussed the importance of managing personal finances for future success.

SERVING OTHERS
Working With the United Way
Pancake and Sausage Day raised nearly $8,500 for the Indiana County United Way campaign. Bank employees supported this annual fundraiser that helps support The United Way’s goal of creating lasting change for individuals to benefit the entire community.
S&T's Commitment
American Red Cross
We regularly sponsor blood drives to help with the critical need for blood donations. In addition, our Stars and Stripes Employee Resource Group partners with the Red Cross to send holiday cards to members of the U.S. Military serving at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait and also those in local Military VA hospitals.
Assisting Domyz Mission
Founded by a 10-year old boy from PA, this organization looks to spread joy through acts of kindness to those less fortunate. The first care packages ever purchased where bought by founder Dominic with his own allowance money. We continue to support his growing mission of selflessness and charity.
Supporting Union Mission
Shoe us the love! S&T continues to partner with Union Mission to collect gently worn used and new shoes to those in need. The program is a win-win, giving shoes a second life while helping individuals in our communities. The Union Mission also provides many other services to show support, dignity and compassion to others.
